Hi, we are Trish and Mark Devlin and thanks for visiting our coffee bean store. First and foremost, we are absolute coffee lovers. Whether it was back in the days of pounding Folgers while studying all night together in graduate school; or more recently drinking the finest Arabic coffee in the world – we love our java (Note: we’ve “graduated” from Folgers). We are ex-Fortune 500 marketing and customer service executives turned coffee entrepreneurs. We started Higher Grounds Coffee Company on a simple concept – to roast the best cup of coffee on the planet personalized to each customer’s taste.

We roast our beans on-demand in small, individual batches and deliver them fresh to your doorstep. We personally select only the finest raw Arabica beans as they arrive in New York from the best growing regions in the world and then roast them to order. This means your coffee is guaranteed to be fresh and full of flavor. Fellow roasters told us that we’re crazy and we can’t stay in business roasting in such small batches to individual preferences.
